I find cruck frame styles endlessly fascinating. I’d like to build more structures with curved timbers and sweeping lines.
Need a medieval church, barn or addition ?

One of the best modern barn frames I’ve studied recently. This was built by the Timber Framers Guild for a school in North Carolina. Need a barn ?  This would also make a very interesting house frame.

 A couple of photos of a post modern house designed by James Speyer and David Haid in 1953.  The bottom photo is Phillip Johnson’s famous 1949 Glass House.  I’m intrigued with the concept of enclosing a modern timber frame  with a glass curtain wall similar to modern skyscrapers. Inside all you would see is the frame, outside  the glass would would reflect the surroundings making the building virtually invisible..
